MakeUp Revolution Concealer¦ Worth It?

I feel the 'drugstore' (funny Americanised word for Superdrug/Boots) concealers are where it's at these days. Don't get me wrong, I am still loyal to my UD Naked Concealer and my Dior Forever Concealer but more than often, I adore wearing my L'Oreal concealer and the one in question, the MakeUp Revolution. 'Conceal & Define Full Coverage Conceal and Contour Concealer' is amazing! But why such a long name though?

It has caused a bit of a social media frenzy and I believe the first person was Holly Boon on You Tube who first showcased this concealer. Pretty everyone has gone out and bought all of these because my local Superdrug is constantly sold out. I managed to pick up shades C5, which is a highlight shade and C10 which is a shade closest to my skin tone.

The pros of this concealer are:

  • Full Coverage
  • Flawless matte finish
  • Long wearing
  • Crease resistant - my creases show after 7 hours of wear
  • Price £4! Cheap as chips guys!
Cons:

  • FLASHBACK! I was actually annoyed at this because I wore it to a party in the evening and I literally had white undereyes! LOL, I've attached images below.

  • Slightly drying if you have dry under eyes or patches of dry skin and it will cling onto those parts.
  • Shade range is abysmal. We need more yellow or neutral under tones.
There are more pros than there are cons and this is my 'need more coverage' concealer as it does what it stays and stays put and looks incredibly flawless. I would highly recommend this!

Have you tried this concealer? xx
